Warts

A wart is generally a small, rough tumor, typically found on the hands and feet, but often in other locations. A wart can resemble a cauliflower or a solid blister. Warts are common, and develop from a viral infection, specifically by the human papillomavirus. Warts are contagious and spread by contact to skin of an infected person. It is also possible to get warts from using towels or other objects. Warts typically disappear after a few months but can last for years and may recur.

Beating a Marijuana Employment Drug Test

Employers use labs that adhere to the mandatory federal workplace guidelines for drug testing programs. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, a federal program enacted by Congress in 1992, publish these guidelines. The rules state that an employer can require one or more preliminary test, followed by confirmatory tests. Prospective employees will most likely have to submit to a urinalysis. Although there are other types of drug testing, approximately 90 percent of the estimated annual 55 million tests done in the United States are urine tests. While urinalysis does not detect marijuana or other illicit drugs, urinalysis does detect non-psychoactive metabolites, indicating whether a person has used a substance previously.
For marijuana users this is bad news because, THC-COOH, the main metabolite of marijuana, is fat-soluble and can remain detectable by a urine test for days or weeks, depending on frequency of use. For both causal and infrequent users, the urinalysis test can detected metabolites just hours after a single use. For chronic or regular users, urinalysis can be detect metabolites several days or weeks of prior use.

Dilution

One of the best methods to help beat a urine test is dilution. Before an upcoming drug test on short notice, a person should drink large quantities of water--up to 120 fluid ounces before the test. This is a practical and inexpensive method and according to a recent testimony to Congress by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, it is still one of the most effective ways of beating a urine test. For the chivalrous, add water to the urine sample. However, be aware that dilution may cause urine to become clear and lose its yellow glow. Taking Vitamin B will help restore the yellow in natural appearing urine for those that choose to dilute.
